31 Days of Halloween — Day 4: Trick or Treat
Hi Friend!
👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻.........
Welcome back to Mommy Stampin’ Creations for Day 4 of my 31 Days of Halloween!
Today I’m sharing two 7 × 5-inch Halloween cards made with Stampin’ Up! products and Catherine Pooler’s Sweet N Spooky 6 × 6 Patterned Paper. I love mixing supplies from my craft collection to create something fun!
For these cards, I used Petunia Pop Cardstock, a retired Stampin’ Up! color. Its bright purple shade looks so pretty with the orange, pink, and purple plaid paper. Basic White panels give the greetings and Halloween details a place to stand out.
The Extraordinary Life Bundle adds playful details, including the notebook-style edges and little banner accents. Those layers give both cards a cheerful papercraft feel!
Two Cards, Two Fun Greetings
My “Trick or Treat” card features a smiling pumpkin filled with Halloween sweets. The plaid paper, little banners, and colorful embellishments make this a sweet Halloween greeting.
My “Hi Friend” card pairs a bold greeting with a colorful spider web. I placed the greeting panel at an angle for a playful finishing touch. It’s a fun way to send a little Halloween hello to a friend!

Try It With Your Paper Collection!
Choose a colorful Halloween patterned paper, then pull a coordinating cardstock color from the design. Layer on a white panel, add a greeting, and finish with a few small accents. You can use the same papers for both cards while changing the arrangement to give each one its own personality!
Which card would you send—the pumpkin “Trick or Treat” card or the “Hi Friend” spiderweb card? Let me know in the comments!
Thank you for joining me for Day 4! Come back tomorrow for Day 5 of my 31 Days of Halloween. Tomorrow also kicks off Card Sketch Monday with Weekly Card Sketch #001, so there’s more creative fun ahead!
