31 Days of Halloween — Day 3: A Little BOO!
👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻.........
Welcome back to Mommy Stampin’ Creations for Day 3 of my 31 Days of Halloween!
Today’s card brings together friendly ghosts, a spooky tree, and a bat flying across a Lemon Lolly moon. I used the Oh My Fright Stamp Set and coordinating Oh My Fright Dies with the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper to create this fun Halloween scene.
I love how the orange ghost print and striped paper stand out against the Basic Black card base. The overlapping strips of patterned paper make a playful background, while the black tree adds a spooky touch. A little white ghost and an orange banner with a bold “BOO” finish the card!
Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Lemon Lolly, and Basic White make such a cheerful Halloween combination. That yellow moon is one of my favorite details—it gives the bat a perfect place to shine!
**A Sneak Peek at Weekly Card Sketch #001!
Today’s Halloween card also gives you a sneak peek at Weekly Card Sketch #001, the first sketch in my upcoming Card Sketch Monday series, starting Monday, October 5, 2026!
I used the sketch’s overlapping vertical layers as inspiration, then added ghosts, a spooky tree, a moon, and a “BOO” banner to give it a Halloween twist.
That’s the fun of a card sketch—you can follow the layout and make it your own with your favorite papers, stamps, and dies!
I’m sharing the sketch below so you can try it, too. It includes measurements, directions, design notes, and tips & ideas to help you get started.
Join me on Monday as we officially kick off Card Sketch Monday here at Mommy Stampin’ Creations. I’d love to see what you create!
