I have some exciting news to share with you today!
I've been doing a little planning behind the scenes here at Mommy Stampin’ Creations, and beginning next Monday, we're starting a new weekly creative schedule!
I wanted to create something that gives you plenty of inspiration throughout the week while also helping you learn new ways to use your Stampin’ Up! supplies.
So grab your favorite drink, pull up a chair in the craft room, and let me tell you what we have planned!
✂️ Card Sketch Monday
We're kicking off each week with Card Sketch Monday!
Every Monday, I'll share a new card sketch that you can use as inspiration for your own handmade cards.
A card sketch is basically a roadmap for your card. It shows you where you might place your Designer Series Paper, cardstock layers, sentiment, and embellishments—but what you create from it is completely up to you!
I'll also share my version of the card so you can see how I interpreted the sketch.
Use the same products, change the colors, turn the sketch sideways, move the sentiment, or use completely different stamps and Designer Series Paper.
The sketch is your starting point. The creativity is yours!
And we're going to number our sketches so you can build your own Mommy Stampin’ Creations Card Sketch Library and come back to them whenever you need a little inspiration.
💕 Card Technique Tuesday
Tuesday is becoming something brand new!
Welcome to Card Technique Tuesday!
Each Tuesday, we're going to learn a card-making technique together.
We'll explore techniques such as:
Emboss Resist
Masking
Ink Blending
Heat Embossing
Watercolor Washes
Paper Piecing
Partial Die Cutting
Faux Torn Paper
And that's just the beginning!
I'll show you what supplies you'll need and walk you through the technique step-by-step so you can try it in your own craft room.
Whenever possible, Monday's card and Tuesday's technique will work together. You may see a technique on Monday's finished card and then come back Tuesday to learn exactly how to do it!
🎨 Color Palette Thursday
Thursday is all about COLOR!
On Color Palette Thursday, I'll share a Stampin’ Up! color combination to help take some of the guesswork out of choosing colors for your projects.
We'll mix and match some of our favorite Stampin’ Up! colors and look at ways to use the combination on cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper projects.
Save your favorite palettes for those days when you sit down to create and think:
“What colors should I use?”
I'll have some inspiration waiting for you!
📸 Scrapbook Sketch Saturday
We're finishing our creative week with Scrapbook Sketch Saturday!
I love that paper crafting gives us so many ways to be creative, and scrapbooking is such a wonderful way to preserve the stories and memories that matter to us.
Each Saturday, I'll share a scrapbook sketch that you can use as the starting point for your next layout.
Just like our card sketches, these are meant to inspire you—not limit you.
Change the photo sizes. Flip the sketch. Add more journaling. Use different Designer Series Papers.

I'm really excited about this new schedule because I want Mommy Stampin’ Creations to be a place you can visit when you need an idea, want to learn something new, or simply feel like spending a little time being creative.
You don't have to make my project exactly the way I made it.
Use what you have.
Try something different.
Change the colors.
Move things around.
And most importantly...
Have fun creating!
Our new schedule begins next Monday August 17, 2026 with Card Sketch Monday, and I can't wait to show you our first project!
