Today I’m sharing three cheerful cards created with the beautiful Painted Patch Designer Series Paper from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! September–December 2026 Catalog.
This paper has such a fun mix of patterns and seasonal images. The soft checks, colorful pumpkins, and warm autumn shades work beautifully
for many occasions—not just fall cards!
For these projects, I created three different 5" x 7" cards:
Hello, Friend – A sweet friendship card featuring the colorful checked paper, a soft blue pumpkin, and leafy accents.
Happy Birthday – A bright birthday card with a floral focal point layered over the patchwork-style pattern.
Thinking of You – A thoughtful card featuring the pumpkin-patterned paper and a simple stitched sentiment label.
One of my favorite things about this paper is its versatility.
By changing the sentiment and focal image,
you can use it for birthdays, friendship cards,
thank-you cards, thinking-of-you cards, and seasonal projects.
Sneak Peek!!!
The Painted Patch Designer Series Paper will be available
in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! September–December 2026 Catalog.
It is definitely a paper pack you’ll want to add to your crafting wish list!
Happy Stamping!
Today I’m sharing a spooky-cute Halloween card created with Stampin’ Up! supplies. Oh My Fright Stamp Set and coordinating Oh My Fright Dies. This card features a moonlit Halloween scene with clouds, a bare tree, a friendly ghost, bats, and lots of fun dimension.
The combination of Basic Black, Basic Gray, Lemon Lolly, and Basic White creates a dramatic nighttime scene without making the card too scary. The Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper makes the perfect background, while the black-and-white ribbon adds a playful finishing touch.
I love using a card sketches to inspire my card making!!

Cut the card base to 4 1/4" × 11" and score it at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish the score line.
Cut a piece of Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper to 4" × 5 1/4". Adhere it to the front of the card base, leaving an even border around all four sides.
Cut a tall Basic Gray focal panel approximately 3" × 4 1/2". Add subtle speckles or texture if desired, then adhere it vertically near the center of the card.
Wrap the Black Iridescent Ribbon across the top of the card and tie it into a knot. Trim the ends as needed.
Use the coordinating Oh My Fright Dies to cut the moon from Lemon Lolly Cardstock.
Die-cut the clouds and ghost from Basic White Cardstock.
Die-cut the bare tree and additional Halloween accents from Basic Black Cardstock.
Arrange the moon and clouds near the upper-left portion of the focal panel. Layer the tree down the center of the panel, allowing the branches to extend behind the other elements.
Place the ghost near the lower-right side of the focal panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals on selected pieces to create depth.
Stamp the “Trick or Treat” greeting and add it across the bottom of the focal panel on a Basic Black sentiment strip.
Finish the card with Adhesive-Backed Bats, Ghosts & Dots for a little extra Halloween fun.
*This card design can also be changed for other occasions.
Replace the Halloween pieces with flowers, snowflakes, leaves,
or other seasonal images while keeping the same basic layout.
